The most exciting thing about Bacon & Brewfest is the chance to try new bacon creations and the best our countries brewers have to offer.

This year our selection will feature crafts from three breweries who are new to the state of Alabama. They are: Tuscaloosa's Band of Brothers Brewing Company, Birmingham's Ghost Train Brewing and Arnaudville, Louisiana based Bayou Teche Brewing Company.

Bayou Teche Brewing Company was founded on a simple dream – to craft beers that compliment the cuisine and lifestyle of Cajuns and Creoles. Bayou Teche has been brewing since 2009 and is ready to break into the Tuscaloosa market and what better place to do that than Bacon & Brewfest! But these Louisiana masterminds want to arrive in style and are planning to brew a bacon flavored beer just for VIPs! Make sure to get your tickets now!

Ghost Train Brewing Company is the newest brewery in Birmingham and has already started making its rounds on the festival circuit. The brewers have spent over a year developing the Ghost Train brand, making dozens of modifications of their recipes and have created a buzz by basically hauling kegs of home brew to picnics and beer events all over the Southeast. Some of their current offerings include the Go-Devil Golden Ale, Switchman's Stash IPL and their Dark Ride Belgian Style Strong Ale brewed with Alabama wildflower honey!

Tuscaloosa's newest brewery, Band of Brothers made their debut in May at 'America On Tap' in Government Plaza. They brought with them an IPA, Brown and an Alabama Session Ale and by the end of the day were the talk of the crowd. It was always apparent, at any point in the festival, where their booth was and we expect the same on August 29th!

The 2nd annual Bacon & Brewfest will be held at the Tuscaloosa Regional Airport on Saturday, August 29th.
