Alabama cemented a huge early Signing Day when 5-star running back Trey Sanders decided to join the Crimson Tide.

Sanders, the nation's top back according to Rivals, was originally an Alabama commitment dating back to his freshman year of high school. As he developed and showed out, the top programs around the nation offered him a scholarship and it ultimately led to a decommitment on January 1 of this year.

The 6-foot-1, 205 pound back went through the recruiting process all year while starring at IMG Academy in Florida. At different points this year, analysts thought he might end up at Alabama, Georgia or Florida but he ultimately ended up exactly where he started: Tuscaloosa.

Sanders will give Alabama its second running back commitment for 2019 and increases the Tide's lead as the number one class in the country.
