In the second weekend of SEC play, Alabama baseball once again came close to claiming a weekend series in the conference but got swept at Tennessee in three close games. Brad Bohannon's squad also fell 6-4 to UAB at Regions Field in Birmingham.

The Crimson Tide won their first SEC series of the season in dramatic fashion thanks to sophomore Bailey Hemphill's two-run walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning Sunday.
