After losing to Troy on Homecoming, the LSU Tigers have reeled off three straight conference wins to climb back into the top 25 rankings and into the SEC West race.

But oddsmakers don't like the Tigers' chances of making it four-in-a-row next Saturday.

Ed Orgeron and his 22nd-ranked team will travel to Tuscaloosa on November 4 for a primetime kickoff against No. 1 Alabama, and the Crimson Tide is an early 24-point favorite.

It's a surprising number given the competitive history of the series over the past decade. Yes, Alabama has won six straight over LSU, but there have been some tightly-contested games during that time, including last year's low-scoring, 10-0 final.

On the flip side, this year's Alabama team is 5-0 in the conference and those victories have come by an average margin of 40 points. That stat is ridiculous but true. And that's also why plenty of people will be on the Tide's side of this point spread when the game rolls around.

It's also interesting to note that Alabama would be a 10.5-point favorite over Auburn as of today while Georgia would be a 3-point underdog. Both of those games will be played at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
