Alabama Athletics to Collect Donations for Hurricane Harvey Recovery Efforts

The Alabama Department of Athletics will collect donations to support the United Way in its efforts to assist with Hurricane Harvey recovery in the Houston area.

An 18-wheel truck, donated by Coleman Worldwide Moving of Dothan, Ala., will arrive in Tuscaloosa on Wednesday, and collections will begin the following day. Drop off times are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 7 from 3 – 9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8 from 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 9 from 8 – 11 a.m. The truck will be stationed near light pole 30 in the University Mall parking lot adjacent to McFarland Boulevard.
