The Alabama baseball team will look to close out the home portion of its 2017 schedule on a high note as No. 7 Florida comes to Tuscaloosa for a three-game series.

The Crimson Tide has won four straight games, including a sweep on the road at then-No. 4 Auburn, after losing 15 of 18 games in April. The modest winning streak gave Greg Goff's team a chance to make the SEC Tournament in two weeks. Alabama still sits last but has closed the gap on Tennessee and Georgia for the final spot in Hoover.

Florida, meanwhile, enters the weekend in a tie for first place in the SEC after winning 15 of its last 18 games. The Gators have only lost two conference series this year and have swept three of the eight teams they've faced.

The series with Florida will be “Senior Weekend”, highlighting the careers of the Tide’s four seniors - Tanner DeVinny, Nick Eicholtz, Mike Oczypok and Taylor Poe. The first 500 fans on Friday will receive senior trading cards at the gate to kick off the promo schedule. Friday will also feature a ceremonial first pitch from Alabama Director of Athletics Greg Byrne. On Saturday, Kat Taylor will perform on the concourse in the final “Saturday Entertainment Series” concert. Sunday’s game will be the final “Kid’s Fun Day” at The Joe, with inflatables during the game and postgame autographs and kids run the bases for all youth.

All three games can be heard on Tide 102.9 and 100.9 FM in Tuscaloosa.
