The Alabama football team practiced in full pads for two hours on Tuesday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Facility.

It was the 13th practice of spring drills as the Crimson Tide worked to correct mistakes from last Saturday’s scrimmage while continuing to prepare for Saturday’s Golden Flake A-Day Game.

“We are all trying to get back and get things corrected,” Christion Jones said after practice. “For every team, the spring is for rebuilding, no matter how many people you lost. For us, we are just trying to get things going. It’s the perfect time for us to get the young guys going and show those that came in how we practice.”

The junior wide has not only gotten reps at wide receiver this spring, but on the other side of the football at defensive back as well as his normal role on special teams.

Alabama will return to the practice field on Thursday for the final workout of the spring. Alabama’s 2013 A-Day Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, at 2 p.m.
