The University of Alabama football team put together a two-hour session outdoors on Wednesday afternoon, practicing in full pads at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
 
The second practice of the week was the Crimson Tide's 21st of the fall in a series of 28 total before the team opens the 2016 campaign. Alabama will begin the new season at AT&T Stadium on Sept. 3 for the AdvoCare Classic against No. 20 USC. The Tide and Trojans are slated for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Sam Ponder on the call.
 
Practices on Thursday and Friday are scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT starts with the team putting in a 2:30 p.m. session on Saturday before taking Sunday off. Following Sunday's break, the Crimson Tide will start game week preparations for the season opener.
