The Alabama men’s basketball team led wire-to-wire, using a 26-3 surge in the second stanza to roll past LSU, 80-65, Tuesday night in Coleman Coliseum. Junior Donta Hall tied his career high in scoring with 20 points on 8-of-10 shooting, while adding eight rebounds, two blocks and a pair of steals in the contest.

The Crimson Tide (17-9, 8-5 SEC) also shot 55.1 percent from the field all game and had 17 assists on 27-of-49 made field goals to take down the Tigers (14-11, 5-8 SEC).

Behind Hall, freshman Collin Sexton scored 15 points while dishing out six assists. Sophomore Braxton Key added 12 points and seven rebounds, while freshman John Petty scored 11 points, going 3-of-3 from beyond the arc, and pulled down five rebounds.

Up next, Alabama will begin a two-game road swing when it takes on the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington, Ky., on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT on CBS. It will be the only meeting between the two teams this season.
