Alabama announced Tuesday that running back Tyren Jones has been suspended from the football team.

“Tyren Jones has been suspended indefinitely for conduct not to the standard of the Alabama football program," Nick Saban said in a school release.

This isn't the first issue for the sophomore. Saban had to suspend Jones last October, although he didn't provide any further details at that time either.

The Georgia native was set to enter spring practice as Alabama's second-best returning rusher from the 2014 season. He developed into the third-string tailback following Kenyan Drake's injury and rushed for 224 yards on 36 carries with two touchdowns.
