Alabama offensive lineman Alphonse Taylor was arrested on Sunday morning and charged with a DUI, according to the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office.

The arrest took place in the 1100 block of Hargrove Road E, and bond was set at $1,000. More details were released on Sunday afternoon detailing the senior's arrest.

Taylor was just named a second-team All-SEC player following SEC Media Days last week even though he went through spring practice working with the second team offensive line. Head coach Nick Saban told reporters that he wanted Taylor to lose weight before the 2016 season.

As of Sunday afternoon, there hasn't been any statement from Alabama.
