Alabama softball maintained its position in the top 20 in the national polls and NCAA RPI this week, coming in at No. 17 in the RPI and the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll and No. 18 in the USA Today/NFCA poll.

The Crimson Tide dropped one spot in both the RPI and the NFCA poll while holding at No. 17 for the second-straight week in the USA Softball poll. Alabama is 28-15 overall and 8-10 in conference play with two weekend series remaining on the road at Georgia and at home vs. Texas A&M.

Eleven SEC teams are ranked in the top 25 this week, including Florida (5/5), Georgia (T6/8), Tennessee (T6/7), Texas A&M (11/12), Auburn (12/15), LSU (13/14), South Carolina (14/13), Arkansas (16/16), Alabama (18/17), Kentucky (20/18) and Mississippi State (23/25).

This week, Alabama travels to Athens, Ga., to face the sixth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (40-7, 13-5 SEC) starting Friday, April 27 at 5 p.m. CT.
