Alabama Women’s Basketball Releases 2015 Non-Conference Slate

Alabama head coach Kristy Curry announced the 2015 women’s basketball non-conference schedule on Friday, which features 10 home games, including one exhibition matchup, a Thanksgiving tournament and a pair of road games.

Fans will get their first look of the Crimson Tide on Nov. 9, when the squad takes on Faulkner in an exhibition game. Four days later Alabama will officially tip off the regular season when it hosts Alabama A&M on Nov. 13. The Tide has three additional home games in November against Appalachian State (Nov. 16), Mississippi Valley State (Nov. 22) and Georgia State (Nov. 24) before hitting the road for the first time to take part in the Nugget Classic in Reno, Nev. on Nov. 27-28, where UA will face Middle Tennessee State and Utah State.

Alabama will play its first true away contest of the season on Dec. 2, at UT Martin and will return to Tuscaloosa for three consecutive home games against Alcorn State (Dec. 6), Georgetown (Dec. 12) and North Florida (Dec. 14). The Tide’s final road matchup of the non-conference slate will take place on Dec. 18 when UA travels east on highway 20 to face Georgia Tech. Alabama will then close out the year with home games against Grambling State (Dec. 20) and Lipscomb (Dec. 28).

Season tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased on RollTide.com. Reserved general admission tickets are $45 for the public, $35 for groups of four or more and $25 for faculty/staff and senior citizens.
