Alabama’s Matt Womack Named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week
Alabama redshirt sophomore offensive tackle Matt Womack was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league office announced Monday. The conference award is the first of Womack’s career.
Womack did not allow a sack or quarterback hurry and played a penalty-free game in the Tide’s 41-10 win over Fresno State on Saturday. He graded out at 90 percent and recorded three knockdown blocks against Bulldog defenders.
