Former Atlanta Falcons head coach Jerry Glanville spent more than 40 years working in college and professional football, including a brief time with Nick Saban.

The year before Saban got his first head coaching job with Toledo, he was in charge of the defensive backs for the Houston Oilers under Glanville. During an interview with Ryan Fowler on The Game, Glanville shared the story of how he found Saban and why he brought him onto the Oilers coaching staff.

The conversation included Glanville's memories of working with Saban and discussion about what's led to his incredible success with the Crimson Tide.
