Although the 2019 recruiting calendar has come and gone, the attention now focuses to spring practice and landing the top prospects for the 2020 signing class.

During his weekly appearance on The Gary Harris Show, BamaInsider recruiting reporter Andrew Bone updated the Crimson Tide's progress toward the 2020 signing class and reviewed the program's most recent Junior Day.

This past weekend, Alabama hosted some of the top high school juniors for Junior Day. After giving his overall impressions of the weekend, Bone detailed several prospects who attended Junior Day including one of the top high school prospects in America in Marietta High School athlete Arik Gilbert.

"He's one of Alabama's top overall targets in 2020, an elite tight end. As many know, tight end is a very important position for Alabama in the 2020 recruiting class. This kid is definitely one of Alabama's key targets, 6-5, about 230 pounds, had over 1,000 yards receiving as a junior. I mean just a tremendous athlete. I think he's the No. 7 overall player in the country. Having him on campus is big." Bone said.

The BamaInsider recruiting reporter later examined the visits of defensive end Jordan Burch,Quandarrius Robinson and De'Rickey Wright.
