While dozens of Alabama football players are getting ready for another NFL season, six former Alabama standouts are presently on a Major League Baseball roster.

Alex Avila, David Robertson, Wade LeBlanc and Tommy Hunter each played significant roles in the Crimson Tide’s 2006 SEC Championship team while Josh Rutledge and Jimmy Nelson were key players in Alabama’s run to the Super Regionals in 2010.
