The momentum that Bo Scarbrough picked up in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl carried over to the first half of the national championship game.

The sophomore running back carried the ball 12 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns against Clemson. The scoring began with a 25-yard carry around the left side where Scarbrough carried a defender the final few yards into the endzone.

Alabama continued giving the ball to Scarbrough, who would eventually break another one loose around the left side. The second touchdown went for 37 yards.

That first half gives Scarbrough more than 250 yards rushing over his last six quarters of football.
