For the second straight meeting, Alabama and Georgia went down to the wire with Jalen Hurts coming off the bench to lead the Tide to a 35-28 win.

During Tuesday's weekly "Capstone Report with DC" segment of The Blitz, former Alabama fullback Martin Houston and DC from Golden Shores Productions broke down various aspects of Saturday's SEC Championship Game.

"When you look at this game, this was like a chess match. This was Nick Saban vs. Kirby Smart. This was the offense vs. defense. This was all sort of things that were going into it." DC said.

For the first 2.5 quarters of the game, it seemed that Georgia could do no wrong with Jake Fromm making pinpoint passes and the defense dominating Alabama's offensive line. the Golden Shores Productions analyst noted a sequence of events including Rodrigo Blankenship's missed 31-yard field goal that he believes was the turning point in the game.

"I think the turning point in the game was the missed field goal and then the touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle. That's what turned the momentum. That's what gave Alabama all it needed to go into the fourth quarter and win that ballgame." DC said.

After the game, Kirby Smart mentioned to reporters how Nick Saban does not want to play Georgia again. While acknowledging that Smart was directing his statements to his players and fans, DC thinks that it's the Georgia coach how doesn't want to play Bama rather than the other way around.

"Kirby Smart doesn't want to play Alabama again because Alabama played probably one of their worst games and still was within a touchdown in the fourth quarter." DC said.

Later in the conversation, Martin Houston and DC listed his standouts in the game, how the Crimson Tide fares against the rest of the playoff field and what he thinks about Urban Meyer stepping down at Ohio State.

The Blitz kicks off Tide 102.9's lineup every weekday from 6-7 AM on Tide 102.9/100.9 and the Tide 102.9 app.
