The top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide won their 42 consecutive regular season non conference game with a 57-7 trouncing of Arkansas State in the Bryant-Denny Stadium

The Crimson Tide heads to Oxford, Mississippi, where they will open Southeastern Conference play against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Heading into the first SEC game of the season, former Alabama fullback Martin Houston and Alabama football analyst DC from Golden Shores Productions recapped Alabama's win over Arkansas State and looked ahead to their trip to Ole Miss.

Prior to the home opener, report surfaced about the possibility of Jalen Hurts redshirting for the 2018 season.

The Houston, Texas native completed seven of his nine pass attempts for 93 yards and two touchdowns while also adding 32 rushing yards on five carries.

With the news surrounding the junior quarterback over the weekend and his play against the Red Wolves, DC expressed his surprise at Hurts playing this past Saturday.

"I was surprised this last game that Jalen came in and played, and the reason I was surprised was everything that I was hearing out of the practices was that Mac Jones was getting all the second team reps and that he would be the quarterback and that Jalen was thinking about redshirting and playing just a couple games later on when we needed him in situational type game plans." DC said.

In addition to looking at the progress for both Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts, DC handed out his nominations for Good, Bad and Ugly.

He listed offensive players such as running back Najee Harris and offensive lineman Lester Cotton as his offensive players of the game. For his "Bad", DC highlighted the Austin Jones' issues hitting extra points and for the "Ugly" and continuing with the special teams, he touched on the punting as his "Ugly".

Toward the close of the conversation, Martin Houston and DC examined how Ole Miss' offense will try to attack Alabama's young secondary while Ole Miss has numerous issues relating to their defense matching up with Tua and the Alabama offense.
