The Crimson Tide nation has rallied around Chris Stewart the past two days after word came out that the broadcaster had a serious medical procedure done on Monday.

Stewart, who is the play-by-play voice of Alabama baseball and basketball, had just returned from a trip to College Station with the baseball team when he had to undergo surgery. Athletic Director Greg Byrne was among the many people that shared well-wishes with the longtime broadcaster.

While there have been some updates from friends that have visited with him in the hospital, fans hadn't heard anything from Stewart since the procedure until he sent out this tweet on Wednesday.

That's outstanding news and something everyone wanted to hear. Stewart is still recovering from the procedure and hopefully we'll have more updates on his return to the Crimson Tide Sports Network in the near future.
