Avery Johnson’s first season at the helm of the Alabama Crimson Tide came to a close in Omaha with a 72-54 loss to Creighton.

Among the top items on Johnson’s agenda is improving the team’s talent level.

The Crimson Tide has already signed two prospects for the 2016 signing class in forwards Ar’Mond Davis and Braxton Key.

Crimson Cover TV recruiting analyst Mike Parker previewed additional recruits that are on Avery Johnson’s radar for the 2017 class.

Among recruits inside the state of Alabama, Parker listed John Petty of J.O. Johnson High School in Huntsville, Jamal Johnson of Spain Park High School in Birmingham and Herb Jones from Hale County High School as prospects that Alabama has a chance to sign for the 2017 signing class.
