Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw made a visit to the Dallas children's hospital this week and had to sing the Alabama fight song during his appearance.

The Children's Health/Children's Medical Center bring celebrities in to visit with the patients and record videos that are shared throughout the hospital. When they visit the studio, the hospital has them participate in a celebrity challenge where they have to perform the challenge the previous guest left for them.

In Kershaw's case, the Alabama football team was the last to visit. You probably remember their attempt at singing 'A Whole, New World' from Disney's Aladdin. Well, they left behind the challenge of singing 'Yea, Alabama!' for the next guest inside the studio and that turned out to be the 3-time Cy Young winner.

For a Texas native that lives in Los Angeles now, he did an admirable job trying to pull of the song on the first take.
