Make plans to head to Tuscaloosa this weekend--the first Downtown Chili Cook-Off is happening Sunday!

This new street festival will feature food, entertainment, live music, and more. You'll be able to sample chili from over 30 different Tuscaloosa restaurants and bars in Tuscaloosa's downtown entertainment district., and those who attend will get to cast votes for the best chili, the most creative, and the best tent decor. The top three chili contestants will face off in taste testing judged by University of Alabama Athletic Director Greg Byrne and his wife, Regina.

Vendors will be on hand for this family-friendly event, and you'll also be able to catch live music from Plato Jones.

The Downtown Chili Cook-Off will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and attendees will be able to enter the festival at the corner of University Boulevard and 23rd Avenue. Tickets are $10, and you can purchase yours HERE.
