ESPN Releases First College Football Playoff Commercial [VIDEO]

The road to the second College Football Playoff will begin in four short weeks and all eyes will be on Ohio State as it tries to defend its title. 

ESPN, which holds the rights to the playoff for 11 more seasons, released its first promo for the 2015 season and it features most of the teams expected to compete for one of the four spots.

While there's a brief Alabama appearance at the 29-second mark in the video (along with 23 other teams), Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and LSU all have more prominent roles in the promo. I'll leave it up to you whether you want to spin it as "ESPN hates Alabama" or "Alabama gets enough TV time so they didn't play a big part in this." In reality, though, it means absolutely nothing.

Whatever the case, we can all agree that we're just glad to see college football being discussed again.
