Former Alabama men’s golfer Trey Mullinax earned his PGA Tour card at the WinCo Foods Portland Open on Sunday, as he finished the year ranked among the top-25 money leaders on the Web.com Tour. Mullinax finished in eighth place for the regular season.

Mullinax, who graduated from Alabama in 2014, helped lead the Crimson Tide to back-to-back national championship in 2013 and 2014. He received second-team All-America honors and earned a spot on the All-SEC first team as a senior in 2014.

In his second year on the Web.com Tour, he won the Rex Hospital Open along with two other top-10 finishes.

The first 25 of 50 available PGA cards were awarded on Sunday. An additional 25 cards are up for grabs at the conclusion of the Web.com Tour Finals beginning Sept. 5.

Mullinax joins former Tide golfers Jason Bohn, Dicky Pride, Michael Thompson, Justin Thomas and Bud Cauley on Tour. Mullinax played with Thomas and Cauley while at Alabama.
