Former Alabama quarterback Andrew Zow knows what it's like to be in the middle of a quarterback competition here in Tuscaloosa.

The current quarterback competition between Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa is being compared to the one almost 18 years ago between Zow and Tyler Watts.

In his first two seasons with Alabama, Zow passed for 3,768 yards with 23 touchdowns. He followed that season up with 1,561 passing yards, but struggled turning the ball over with a career-high 14 interceptions.

During his senior season, Zow was benched in favor of Tyler Watts and Zow only played six games in the season.

Zow joined The Game with Ryan Fowler to discuss what he wants to see from Jalen Hurts, thoughts on Tua Tagovailoa, playing with running back Shaun Alexander, his favorite memory playing for Alabama and coaching high school football.
