Nobody doubts that Nick Saban can coach football. The championships happened, the stats are there.

Ben Troupe, former Florida All-American and Tennessee Titans tight end, joined The Game recently and told host Ryan Fowler that he believes Nick Saban has a Bill Belichick-type of mentality.

"What I like about coach Nick Saban is that he doesn't care about outside noise," Troupe said. "He is the best at eliminating distractions. Doesn't matter who he has, he understands that the Alabama Crimson Tide plays on Saturday, not just one player."

Troupe believes that players take on the persona of their coach. This is the foundation for Saban's success. After experiencing college football first-hand, Troupe thinks it's crucial for incoming freshmen to restart from the ground up.

"I think Nick Saban is the greatest teacher of life and football because these kids need welcoming and humbling quickly," Troupe said.

Troupe also discusses Georgia and Kirby Smart, Title IX plus gives his insight on position competitions. You can listen to the full interview in the video above.
