Former Tide LB Christian Bell Transfers to Wisconsin

It was announced earlier this week that Christian Bell, former linebacker from Hoover High School and the University of Alabama, would be transferring away from The Capstone, and on Thursday, he tweeted that he would be attending the University of Wisconsin to play football for the Badgers.

Bell grey-shirted during his freshman year at Alabama, and he came out of high school as a 3 star outside linebacker, the 445th ranked player in the country and the 17th ranked player in the state of Alabama for the class of 2014.

Bell will be required to sit out the 2016 season for the Badgers, but will have four years of eligibility.

Wisconsin opens up their 2016 campaign against the LSU Tigers on September 3 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI.
