Another long offseason has come to an end and now we can start talking about matchups. Game week got started in Tallahassee much in the same way as it did in Tuscaloosa with the head coach holding a Monday press conference.

Florida State's Jimbo Fisher met with the media to talk about his team and their preparation for a meeting with No. 1 Alabama.

"We've got a great team we're playing, Alabama," Fisher said. "I have nothing but respect for Alabama. They've done a tremendous job with their program in the past, in the present, and in the future I know they will. They have an outstanding coach. Nick (Saban) does as good a job as anybody. He does a great job preparing his team and you'll know they'll be ready."

Both teams will be ready after a long fall camp and high expectations for the 2017 season.

"We're definitely looking forward to the opener, but at the same time, we're going to have to play extremely well. We know we have our hands full playing a great opponent."

Listen to everything Fisher had to say in the video above.
