Hugh Freeze Addresses NCAA Violations at SEC Media Days [VIDEO]
The final day of SEC Media Days featured Hugh Freeze and the Ole Miss Rebels, and it didn't take long for the recent NCAA violations to be addressed.
Freeze took a proactive approach to facing the allegations that were laid out by the NCAA in May by speaking on the issue before getting into football.
"We fully have cooperated with the NCAA throughout the entire process, which has been a long process," Freeze said. "We discovered most of the facts that led to self-reports and that's how a good compliance office works. You know, with them already being on our campus, we had to report many things that are a part of the Notice of Allegations that maybe typically just get reported and handled with self-imposed penalties. We believe our response to the Notice of Allegations stands on its own."
In total, Freeze was asked nine questions during his appearance in the main media room, and four of the related to Laremy Tunsil or the NCAA investigation. You can watch most of that question-answer period in the video below.
