With all of the hype surrounding another top-10 matchup between Alabama and LSU, you might expect the starting quarterback to appear a bit more anxious or excited.

But you'd never get that feeling from Alabama's Jake Coker, who appeared as relaxed and laid back as he has all season when he met with the media to begin LSU week.

The senior answered questions about last week's come-from-behind victory over Tennessee, his memories of this Alabama-LSU series, and how his teammate Derrick Henry stacks up against Leonard Fournette. If you didn't know anything about the matchup, you'd never be able to guess that the Crimson Tide's opportunity to win a championship was on the line.

Although Coker's numbers won't impress many people nationally, the Mobile native and this Alabama offense have continued to improve this season. During the month of October, Coker put up three of his four best passer ratings on the season despite throwing just three touchdowns in four games.

With the LSU defense keyed in on stopping Henry and the rushing attack, Coker could be in store for an increased role in the gameplan.
