Florida head coach Jim McElwain enters his second season at Florida after exceeding expectations in year one and earning coach of the year honors, but there were still plenty of questions about his time before Gainesville.

Much like last year at SEC Media Days, McElwain was asked about his time as offensive coordinator under Nick Saban.

"I know what an honor it was to work for Coach (Saban), what I was able to learn when I was at the University of Alabama," McElwain said. "And I was excited to be able to play him. I know this, I'll be excited to play him again this year, because I know it's in Atlanta."

Saban will coach his 10th season at The University of Alabama, and each passing season brings more speculation about how long he'll coach. For McElwain, he hasn't seen anything that makes him think Saban is on his way out.

"I think he can go forever. He's -- that's just the way he's wired. And I haven't seen one thing, when we were around each other that week of the SEC Championship game, I didn't see one less bounce in his step, anything like that. And, you know what? He's -- the guy's something special."

Florida opens the 2016 season at home against UMass on September 3.
