Alabama opens its 2018 football season with a trip to the Camping World Kickoff Game in Orlando to face Louisville and now we know what time the game will kickoff.

The September 1st game has been picked for a primetime 7 PM/CT start time and will air nationally on ABC, the network announced this week. That's become a traditional time slot for the Crimson Tide's high-profile openers against non-conference opponents. Last year, Alabama faced Florida State in Mercedes-Benz Stadium on the first Saturday night.

The Crimson Tide will once again be the favorite to win the national championship in 2018 while Louisville might be in a bit of a rebuilding mode following the departure of former Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson to the NFL. Oddsmakers don't believe this game will be very close either. The early line made Alabama a 31-point favorite over the Cardinals in week one.

This is the first television assignment handed out for the first Saturday of the season but the Miami-LSU game on Sunday, September 2 will also air on ABC.
