Listen to What Nick Saban Said at His Annual Nick’s Kids Luncheon.

The annual Nick's Kids luncheon was held on Thursday at the Zone inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and head coach Nick Saban spent a few minutes with the media before the event began.

The luncheon is a big event for the Saban family charity every year and the coach called it his favorite day of the year.

"We try to help these young kids have a better opportunity to be successful in life and have a better quality of life," Saban said. "As you all know and I've said before, this is all about my dad and his legacy of what he tried to do and hopefully he'd be proud of what we were doing."

During the 2018 Annual Giveaway Luncheon event Nick and Terry Saban distributed, over $500,000 to deserving and gracious children’s organizations. It's just one part of the impact they've made on the community since arriving in Tuscaloosa more than 11 years ago.
