The Brass Tap opened in Midtown Village earlier this summer and they'll be bringing a load of flavor to their first Bacon Brew and Que appearance this weekend.

The popular chain might be best known for its extensive beer list, but don't overlook the food coming out of their kitchen. Two of the appetizers on their menu will be a part of the event on Saturday and they pack a ton of flavor.

The first dish is the loaded house-made tots. Made in the restaurant and featuring their creamy beer cheese, these tots also feature bacon, Peppadew peppers, and a cilantro onion mix. The most surprising part of the dish is that it's not heavy despite the cheese and potatoes and those peppers really add a burst of flavor.

Then there's the 5 Cheese Mac & Cheese, which will be the cheesiest dish on Saturday. This appetizer includes a combination aged cheddar, monterey jack, mozzarella, cream cheese, and romano. Top it off with bacon and it's ready to serve to you.

Only general admission tickets remain for Bacon Brew and Que but you'll still have 2.5 hours to enjoy all of the food and beer samples.
