The top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide is gearing up for their first Southeastern Conference game of the season Saturday evening at Ole Miss.

Both teams come into the game with 2-0 records thanks to high powered offenses. Alabama is averaging 54 points per game while Ole Miss is posting 61.5 points per game.

Prior to the start of the weekend, former SEC assistant coach Max Howell offered his insights into a big weekend around the conference.

To begin his weekend preview, Howell detailed his expectations for Alabama's trip to Ole Miss including the quarterback rotation for the game.

Also this weekend, Missouri puts their 2-0 record on the line with a road trip to Purdue. Quarterback Drew Lock has thrown for 687 yards and 8 touchdowns in his first two starts this season. Along with a talented receiving corps, the former SEC assistant already sees Missouri as one of the better teams in the SEC East.

"I think they are the second best team in the (SEC) East)." Howell said.

Howell later detailed his thoughts on Auburn's big clash against LSU, the rebuilding jobs that Chad Morris has at Arkansas and Dan Mullen faces at Florida along with his pick for "What's for Supper?" to get you ready for the weekend.
