University of Mississippi officials are pledging to stock plenty of bottled water to sell to hot, thirsty football fans this weekend.

The Oxford Eagle reports that water and ice ran short last weekend during the Ole Miss home game against Alabama. Temperatures were in the 90s, and Associate Athletic Director Michael Thompson says more than 48,000 bottles of water were sold.

He says that doubles the previous record of 24,000 bottles sold during one of the games in 2015.

Lesson learned: Thompson says Ole Miss will have 80,000 bottles of water and plenty of ice for the home game Saturday against Georgia.
