The top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide shut down the third ranked LSU Tigers 29-0 inside Tiger Stadium.

While Tua Tagoaviloa and the offense did not light up the scoreboard as frequently against LSU as they had in their previous eight games, the defense posted their second shutout of the Tigers in Baton Rouge in as many trips.
