President of the Birmingham Iron Relives Opening Day

The Birmingham Iron shutout the Memphis Express 26-0 at Legion Field as multiple stars from both the University of Alabama and Auburn lead the way to the team's first victory. Including former Alabama running back Trent Richardson, who scored the first touchdown in Franchise history.

President of the Birmingham Iron, Tom Ward, joined "The Jay Barker Show with Lars Anderson and Kerry Adams" with guest host Antonio Langham to look back over the team's opening game of the inaugural season.

"We had four and a half months," Tom told Jay, Lars and Antonio. "there's so many balls up in the air you are just trying not to drop to many of them. On the field everything was excellent, behind the scenes there was some things we gotta work on."
