The Alabama men's basketball team has added an ACC team to the schedule for a home-and-home series.

According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, the Crimson Tide will travel to Clemson this season and host a home game next year.

This game should be a nice addition to the Alabama schedule. Not only will Avery Johnson pick up a non-conference opponent from a power conference, but his team will likely be favored in both matchups.

The Clemson program has been up and down since Oliver Purnell resigned as head coach in 2010. It's made just one NCAA appearance and finished with 16 wins or fewer in three of the five seasons, including 1 16-15 record in 2014-15 The Tigers will bring in the 67th-ranked recruiting class this fall.

Just last week, the matchups for the 2015 Advocare Invitational were announced. Alabama will face Xavier in the first round and could meet up with either Wichita State or USC in round two.
