The Atlanta Braves' horrible start to the 2016 season might have taken an even worse turn on Wednesday.

According to multiple reports, left fielder Hector Olivera was taken into custody after police were called to the team hotel following a domestic dispute. The incident occurred at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington D.C. and police were contacted a 6:51am.

The Braves are in town for a four-game series with the Nationals. The team has already lost the first two games against Washington and the first seven games of the season.

Olivera, 31, was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers via trade last season. In six games this year, Olivera has hit .211 with just one extra-base hit.

The Braves have not issued a statement on the arrest at this time.
