There's a new race being introduced in Tuscaloosa Saturday morning at 8 a.m., the Roarin' Run 5K to raise funds for the girls soccer team at County High School!

The start line is located outside of the high school near the gym.  Participants are asked to pull into the first/main entrance to school and park near the building.  If you're not familiar where County High School is located, it's a quick shot up Highway 43 North.  Once you get to the Rose Boulevard intersection traffic light (gas stations on both sides of the road), take a left, and turn right at the school's sign.

This Tuscaloosa Track Club supported event costs $25 to enter, and includes a t-shirt and a race bag with goodies.

The top overall and age group finishers will receive a homemade race medal.

Also, there will also be gift cards to be given away from Academy Sports, Dick's Sporting Goods and Wagner's Run/Walk.
