Alabama doesn't have many injury concerns heading into its biggest game of the season to date.

Three Crimson Tide players, all of whom were injured in their last game against Tennessee on Oct. 24, are expected to practice this week ahead of the team’s Saturday meeting with No. 4 LSU, coach Nick Saban said Monday.

Safeties Eddie Jackson and Ronnie Harrison, as well as starting right tackle Dominick Jackson, all left Alabama’s win over the Volunteers two weeks ago with injuries, but all three practiced Monday afternoon as Saban expected.

For Harrison and Dominick Jackson, Monday’s practice marked their first action since going down with ankle sprains that held them out of the remainder of the game against the Vols once the injury occurred.

Eddie Jackson, who practiced all of last week despite missing some time against Tennessee with a knee sprain sustained in the game, also practiced Monday. He again wore a brace to protect his right knee.

“We’ll see how they do at practice today and will be evaluated to see how they do,” Saban said during his press conference prior to practice. “We’ll have to evaluate that more on a day-to-day basis.”

Of the three injured players, Dominick Jackson appeared the most limited of the three Monday. The former junior college transfer practiced hitting the blocking sled during practice but stood off to the side when the rest of the offensive linemen had man-on-man contact with each other. Junior Brandon Greene, who Saban has said is Dominick Jackson’s backup at right tackle, appeared to step into his place when he did not participate in drills.

Last Tuesday during the bye week, Saban said he wasn’t sure if Dominick Jackson would be ready in time to play against LSU, noting that it was the same injury sophomore left tackle Cam Robinson sustained against Tennessee last season (high ankle sprain) with the same procedure done on it afterward.

But despite initial fears that he wouldn’t be back in time to play, Robinson started and played against the Tigers after a week’s worth of rest during the team’s bye week.
