As teams across America prepare for various conference tournaments and possible NCAA Tournament games, one member of the Sanderson family is getting ready for postseason play in NAIA.

Former Lipscomb head coach Scott Sanderson is gearing up for the NAIA National Tournament as Faulkner University won the SSAC Tournament in Montgomery over the weekend.

Scott Sanderson joined his father Wimp Sanderson and his brother Barry Sanderson on Inside the Locker Room to recap the tournament win and share his feelings about coaching a championship team.

Scott Sanderson expressed his thoughts on the difficulty of winning a championship regardless of the competition level.

“The toughest league is the one that you’re in and the toughest competition is the team you’re competing against.” Sanderson said.
