If there's any question about how competitive the Southeastern Conference has become for college baseball, just take a quick look at the latest top 25 poll.

Baseball America released its rankings as we approach the midway point of the conference schedule, and the SEC makes up four of the top five and six of the top 10. As of April 11th, here is where the SEC ranks:

2. Mississippi State

3. Florida

4. Texas A&M

5. South Carolina

8. Ole Miss

9. LSU

12. Vanderbilt

16. Kentucky

More than half of the conference is ranked in the top 16 in the country, which speaks to the level of baseball being played.

Alabama, which is not ranked, sits just two games out of first place in the SEC West, but the schedule only gets tougher down the stretch. The Crimson Tide will still host three top 10 opponents (Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and South Carolina) while traveling to College Station for a series against the Aggies.
