Bill Battle is the first member of the new "Alabama Always" licensing program.

The University of Alabama released Wednesday that the new Athletic Performance Center will be dedicated to a Crimson Tide legend- Bill Battle.

Former Alabama Athletic Director, Bill Battle, has been hospitalized due to COVID-19. In a public statement he said he is expecting to make a full recovery, he is undergoing treatment and observation at UAB in Birmingham. Battle served as athletic director at the Capstone from 2013-17.
