Today we recognize former Alabama tight end Hale Hentges.

Alabama tight end Hale Hentges was named a semifinalist for the 2018 William V. Campbell Trophy, the National Football Foundation announced Wednesday morning.

Hentges is one of 106 student-athletes up for football community service honor.

Hentges caught seven passes for 75 yards and three touchdowns as a junior a season ago.

As much conversation as the coaching additions has generated off the field, the message has been very different inside the locker room.
