The Alabama Crimson Tide football squad has two practices left before they end spring practice with the annual A-Day game on Saturday.

Tider Insider’s Rodney Orr offered his insights on Alabama’s second scrimmage of the spring and a look into the final week of spring practice on the Gary Harris Show.

One of the key positions fans are wondering is who will be the starter at quarterback for the season opener against USC.

Orr believes that the battle for the starting quarterback position goes through one particular signal caller on the roster.

“I’ve felt all along, even when some people wanted to anoint someone else, I felt like that Cooper Bateman is a guy that if you’re going to win that job you’ve got to go through him because he’s got some experience, and he’s really done everything he’s possibly could to try to maintain his position.” Orr said.
