Alabama has returned to the practice field to begin the spring and there are a ton of things to take away from day one of Alabama's spring practice.

From wide receiver DeVonta Smith working with the defensive backs, movement in the offensive line, and the big news Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leaving practice with a thumb injury, it was a eventful day to start the spring in Tuscaloosa.
